Coming up with ideas for Christmas gifts can be stressful. How do you find the perfect present for each and every person in your life? How do you find one that’s in your budget? How do you find the time to find the gift? It’s can take a lot of time and work, but it doesn’t have to. We can’t tell you what to get your picky mother-in-law, unless she’s a car enthusiast. But we can give you some great ideas for anyone who loves their car.
Car Wash Pass: Most full-service car washes offer car wash passes or at least gift cards for the holiday season. This can be an excellent gift because of course it will be used, unlike that Bluetooth waffle iron that is still in your brother’s storage closet from last year.
Car Mats: You can get personalized car mats, decorated with names, colors, or even their favorite sports teams. Or if they aren’t into fancy things, simply upgrade to a more heavy duty mat that resists mud and water damage.
Fuel Additives: It’s the kind of thing they might not want to buy for themselves, but once they see how a fuel additive can improve their fuel efficiency and clean their engine they’ll give you a huge thanks! Pill or liquid form can work for any car.
Car Scents: Everyone likes their car to smell great. Car air fresheners and scents can make great gifts or stocking stuffers. Plug ins can clip onto air vents, the classic tree scents hang from rearview mirrors, or other types can be stored anywhere in the car.
Emergency Car Kit: If someone you love doesn’t own an emergency car kit, you can show them you care about their safety by gifting them one this season. Choose one with jumper cables, flares, first aid, and any other bonus items you can find. Take the time to teach them how to change a tire if they don’t know – a present that is useful AND free.
Seat Covers: Seat covers are an excellent gift for moms and dads of young kids, because they make cleaning and avoiding stains incredibly easy. Like car mats, you can also find decorated seat covers for any fan in your life to bring a little pep to their vehicle.
That should give you a few ideas for at least one person on your list – useful items that can make driving a car just a little more fun and functional. Happy Holidays!
